MANILA - Crusading (suspended) priest Among Ed Panlilio is trailing incumbent governor Lilia "Baby" Pineda, according to latest results from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday morning.
Panlilio, who is running under the Liberal Party, had 105,974 votes as of 2:03 a.m. Tuesday, according to partial and unofficial results from the Comelec Transparency Server.
Pineda, the head of local party Kambilan, had 424,463 votes as of posting.
Her son Dennis is also leading the race for vice-governor.
He has 338,721 votes so far, ahead of the Liberal Party's Maria Amalia Tiglao (131,912).
