MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang condemned the killing of a reporter of Bombo Radyo in Koronadal, South Cotabato.
Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said the Philippine National Police (PNP) is now looking into the case, which he described as a "heinous act."
"We condemn the murder of the Bombo Radyo employee and we will let you know of the updates. The PNP is right now looking into the motives of the heinous act," Lacierda said.
South Cotabato Police said Rommel Palma, 30, was inside a radio network-owned vehicle parked in front of the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital at around 5 a.m. when two motorcycle-riding men shot him.
