Alleged drug dealers nabbed in Cotabato

COTABATO CITY, Philippines  A couple allegedly involved in drug pushing has been arrested by officials of the Philippine Drug Enforcement AgencyAutonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEAARMM) in Purok Sultan, Barangay Poblacion 7, Cotabato City.

Authorities said the suspects, identified as Abo Karinggi alias “Abs Angkul-as” and Queen Karinggi, have been on PDEA’s watchlist for quite some time due to their alleged involvement in selling drugs.

Recovered from the suspects were 62 sachets of “shabu,” drug paraphernalia and marked money.

They are currently detained at the PDEA-ARMM detention cell.

They are facing charges of violating Section 5 of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Anti-Illegal Drugs Act.
