AGUSAN DEL SUR – Around P1 million in cash was carted away by two armed men from a cashier of the local government unit of La Paz, Agusan del Sur on Tuesday, reports said.
Norma Ayaton, 60, just came from the bank to withdraw the cash when the robbery happened inside a store where she was resting.
One of the suspects served as a lookout while the other pointed a gun at Ayaton and forcibly took the bag containing the cash.
Recovered from the scene were three bullet fragments, a spent cartridge from a .45 caliber gun, a bull cap, a pair of eyeglasses, and a towel.
Police have launched a manhunt against the suspects. ABS-CBN News
