MANILA - A fisherman was reported missing in Pangasinan after heading out in the West Philippine Sea, Tuesday.

In a report, Virgilio Aglian Jr., a resident of Brgy. Aloleng, Agno, Pangasinan said his brother Enrique Aglian went missing while fishing in the waters of Agno-Bani in the West Philippine Sea.

Cabatan said that his brother was using a motorized banca and left at around 4 p.m. on April 12, Sunday.

His brother has since failed to return home.

Agno police are looking for the missing fisherman.

The Agno-Bani area in the West Philippine Sea, where Cabatan reportedly went, is in the same area as Scarborough Shoal.

Ownership of Scarborough Shoal is being disputed by the Philippines and China.
