BENGUET – For those who want to cool down this summer, there's a unique resort in Tuba, Benguet that offers a spectacular view.
“Zero bacteria talaga ‘yan. Laging chine-check ang aming tubig tapos naglalagay din minsan ng chlorine para ‘yung bacteria ay mamatay,” said Aden Collado, one of the resort’s caretakers.
Kids and adults enjoy various attractions such as the dinosaur slide and the infinity pool with the mountains as the backdrop.
“Refreshing, nakakapawi ng pagod kahit papano,” said resort guest Jay Rosalin.
Aside from the pool, the highest and longest zipline in Benguet is also found here.
Cool down with Halo-halo
If you want to beat the heat through your stomach, you can try the halo-halo at what is being described as the most romantic restaurant in the country, which can be found in San Fernando, La Union.
The halo-halo here needs no sugar and is made sweet by its special ingredients.
Other favorites are the ginataan and the deep fried halo-halo, wherein the ingredients of the halo-halo are placed in a spring roll wrapper.
