MANILA - Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is offering a P100,000 reward for any information on each of the 13 missing bundles of cocaine in his city.
Duterte also said that those who will return the missing cocaine bundles will not be charged.
Over the weekend, 24 bundles of high-grade cocaine were found strapped to the ceiling of a container van while workers of Sumifru (Philippines) Corp. were loading bananas inside.
Twenty-seven more bundles were later found inside a locker in the company's compound.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - Region 11 said, however, that there were a total of 64 cocaine bundles amounting to over P300 million that were shipped to Davao.
Authorities are still investigating how the shipment was able to pass through the Bureau of Customs.
A task force has also been formed to investigate the case. -- Report from Vina Araneta, ABS-CBN News Davao
