'Caloy' weakens into Low Pressure Area

MANILA – Tropical Depression "Caloy" has weakened into a Low Pressure Area after making landfall in Surigao del Sur this morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its weather bulletin issued at 5 p.m., PAGASA said Caloy was last spotted in the vicinity of Surigao City.

All Public storm warning signals elsewhere are now lowered.

Eastern Visayas and Caraga will continue to have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Fishing boats and other small seacraft are advised not to venture out into the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Luzon and of Visayas.
