PANGASINAN – The WCC Flying School has launched an investigation into the crash involving its Cessna plane in a residential area in Barangay Poblacion Norte Rizal, Nueva Ecija on Thursday.

Richard Tanglao, marketing manager of the flying school based in Binalonan, said they will look at the cause of the crash.

He also assured the public that they will be impartial in their investigation.

"Patuloy ang imbestigasyon… pero hindi totoo na dahil sa nagpapakitang gilas daw,” he said.

Tanglao also clarified that the flight was approved by the management.

He assured that all their aircraft are safe and are regularly checked before a flight.

Meanwhile, Tanglao said they will extend financial assistance to the families of the two pilots who are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, as well as residents whose houses were damaged by the crash.

"We will help them," Tanglao said. -- Report from Nica Tomines , ABS-CBN News North Luzon
