2 businessmen hurt in Dagupan shooting incidents
MANILA -- Two businessmen were wounded in separate shooting incidents in Dagupan City over weekend.
Martin Li, 35, was shot by unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen while he was driving along Brgy. Caranglaan in Dagupan City on Saturday.
He sustained a gunshot wound in his jaw, but was still able to bring himself to a hospital.
The police have yet to talk to Li, who underwent surgery.
Li owns an auto spare parts business.
On Sunday, a 28-year-old businessman was also shot he while on his way home after delivering frozen food.
Authorities believe that robbery was the motive behind the incident, as the victim's bag was taken from him.
The victim remains in critical condition.
Four shooting incidents have been recorded in Dagupan City since the start of February. -- report from Michelle Soriano, ABS-CBN News North Central Luzon
