MANILA -- A 15-year-old teenager identified as Mike Aron Tolentino was found dead after he was allegedly abducted in Arayat, Pampanga.

According to his father, the boy told them last week that he was going to his classmate's house for a school group project and has not been seen since.

The father found out later on that his son was supposed to meet up with a girl he was courting.

According to a witness, Mike was last seen in Sta. Monica in San Luis, Pampanga, where he was forcibly taken on board a white wan. The witness added that they saw the boy being beaten up and heard him begging his attackers to stop.

The victim's corpse was found in Arayat, Pampanga, three days after he was last seen. As there were no families claiming the body, it was immediately buried.

The Tolentino family heard of the incident and went to Arayat Police Station to check on the corpse. From pictures alone, they were able to identify the victim.

The family added that Mike received a threat two weeks before he was abducted. The victim's brother also saw someone allegedly pointing a weapon at him.

According to initial investigation, the victim seemed to have been tortured before he was killed.

Autopsy reports showed that the victim was strangled to death.

The police have already identified some suspects, who will be charged with murder in relation to violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. -- report from Trisha Mostoles, ABS-CBN News Pampanga
