MANILA (1st UPDATE) -- A former mayor wanted for a multiple murder case in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija in 2006 was arrested in Quezon City Thursday, police said.
Former Gapan City Mayor Ernesto Natividad was nabbed inside the Urology Center of the Philippines along Maginoo St. in Barangay Central, Teacher's Village, Quezon City at around noon.
He was arrested by operatives of the Regional Intelligence Unit - National Capital Region (RIU-NCR) and Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10 led by Senior Supt. Elmer Pelobello and Senior Supt. Marcelino Pedrozo, chief of QCPD Station 10, after being served a warrant of arrest for multiple murder charges.
