MANILA -- Two suspects behind a robbery incident at a church in Tagaytay City were arrested Tuesday, police said.
Police Supt. Redrico Maranan said several men stole cash, three laptops, a cellphone and other personal belongings of the priests.
Initial investigation showed that the stolen items were being sold via the Internet.
Authorities were able to intercept one of the suspects after they posed as buyers.
One of the the arrested man's cohorts was also arrested in a follow-up operation.
Police are now conducting pursuit operations against the other suspects.
Authorities said some of the stolen items have already been recovered and returned to the priests. -- Report from Eric Dastas, dzMM
