MANILA -- Tropical Depression "Agaton" has now claimed 45 lives, injured 68, and left 8 missing, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Tuesday.

A total of 830,117 individuals or 173,617 families have been affected by "Agaton", the NDRRMC also said.

Of the total affected, 44,766 families or 206,888 persons were displaced and served inside 569 evacuation centers.
The evacuated victims fled to safer ground due to heavy rains, flooding, and landslides spawned by "Agaton," which has been downgraded into a low-pressure area.

The NDRRMC also said 50 roads and 25 bridges remain impassable in Region VII, X, XI, and CARAGA.

Meanwhile, "Agaton" left P383,969,253.22 million in damage: P128,513,750 in infrastructure and P255,455,503.22 in agriculture.

The NDRRMC remains on blue alert.
