MANILA – Eight areas in Luzon experienced cold weather on Monday, with temperatures dropping below the 20 degrees Celsius mark.
State weather bureau PAGASA said the temperature in Metro Manila on Monday morning was at 18.4 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, temperature in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte was at 13.3 degrees Celsius; Basco, Batanes at 15 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan at 15.9 degrees Celsius; Clark, Pampanga at 17.5 degrees Celsius; Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija at 18.5 degrees Celsius; and Dagupan City, Pangasinan at 19 degrees Celsius.
Temperature in Baguio City, meanwhile, was at 8.4 degrees Celsius today. The lowest temperature in the summer capital so far this year was recorded yesterday at 8.1 degrees Celsius.
In Metro Manila, the coldest temperature so far this year was recorded last Saturday at 17.5 degrees Celsius. – report from Dexter Ganibe, dzMM
