MANILA -- Four establishments were burned in a fire in Dipolog City on Saturday night.
The fire, which started in a textile store, spread to other establishments, including a clothes store, a pawnshop and a dental clinic.
Firemen are looking at substandard electrical wirings in the textile store as the cause of the fire.
An abandoned stove in the textile store's kitchen may have also caused the fire.
However, the store's owner denied having a kitchen inside their store.
The fire lasted for two hours before it was declared out, destroying around P7 million worth of property.
Meanwhile, a armed group allegedly torched a warehouse in Brgy. Barobo, Valencia City in Bukidnon on Saturday night.
According to the police, aside from torching Alkuino Banana Packaging and Processing warehouse, the armed group also torched the company's water tanker, backhoe, metal detector, weighing scale and two company vans.
The suspects also took with them a shot gun and four calibre .35 guns from the company's security guards.
A Molotov bomb and two gallons of gasoline were recovered from the scene.
