MANILA -- A magnitude 4.1 quake hit the city of Davao Sunday evening, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
The earthquake was recorded at 9:07 p.m., with the epicenter located four kilometers northeast of the town of Jose Abad Santos in Davao Occidental. It had a depth of 113 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt in other cities such as Kidapawan City, General Santos City, Tampakan, South Cotabato, Tagum City, Davao City, Malita, Davao del Sur and Mati, Davao Oriental.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the same earthquake at magnitude 5.2.
On Sunday morning, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake was recorded 25 kilometers east, southeast of Tandag, Surigao del Sur.
