Vehicle of Cavite gunman recovered in Silang
MANILA, Philippines – Authorities are now examining the vehicle of a man who went on a shooting rampage that killed at least 7 people in Kawit, Cavite last week.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is checking the vehicle of Ronald Bae. The vehicle was found parked along Barangay Tubuan in the town of Silang on Sunday morning.
Bae’s wife earlier reported the vehicle, a Mitsubishi 1998 model, missing when the keys were found from the suspect’s possession.
Col. Dionisio Borromeo, Deputy Director of the Cavite Police Provincial Office, said they are trying to establish how the vehicle ended up in Silang.
Last Friday, Bae randomly shot anybody who crossed his path until he was gunned down by policemen.
Authorities will file multiple murder with frustrated murder charges against John Paul Lopez, Bae’s caretaker, who allegedly aided the suspect in loading his gun during the incident. Report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
