MANILA, Philippines – Two lifeless bodies were separately found in a ravine in Barangay Rizal in Pakil, Laguna Saturday afternoon.

The victims were identified as retired US Navy Cesar Dalena, 57, and his househelper Jackielyn Tagulayan, 19.

Tagulayan was almost decapitated while authorities have yet to find the head of Dalena.

Reports said suspect Ronnie Gabion carried out the crime using a bolo knife inside the resort owned by Dalena.

Another worker in Dalena’s resort is currently recuperating at a hospital because he was also reportedly stabbed by Gabion.

Meanwhile, Dalena’s wife Virginia could not accept that her husband would die from such a gruesome murder. She said Gabion probably feels bad because he was not hired to work in the resort.

“Hindi na namin kinuha. Nagselos siguro sa kinuha namin. Sabi ng asawa ko kukunin pero dalawa na lang, ang project 'yung sa Hermano Hermana. Hindi na sa aming building,” she shared.

Even Tagulayan’s mom Lilia Villaflor could not believe her daughter got involved in the incident.

“Nag-aaral [siya]. Kaya [siya] sumama para may baon siya sa Lunes,” she said.

The police already launched a manhunt against Gabion. – from a report by Sarita Karen, ABS-CBN News Southern Tagalog
