MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang has assured the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda that they will continue to receive aid from the government even after the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ends the distribution of relief packs in March.
“Tinitingnan ng DSWD ang sitwasyon ng mga pamilya. Patuloy ang assistance na binibigay, lalo kung talagang kinakailangan ito,” Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said.
The super typhoon had displaced more than four million people, with many of them also losing their sources of livelihood. -- Report from ANC
