BATANGAS -- A 26-year-old female farm manager was found dead in Padre Garcia town on Saturday morning, police said.
Batangas police director Senior Superintendent Omega Jireh Fidel identified the victim as Jackielyn Jose, manager of BMV Farm in Barangay San Miguel, Padre Garcia.
Jose's naked body was discovered inside the restroom of her barracks around 5:45 a.m. Saturday with multiple stab wounds.
Police suspect Jose was a victim of robbery since her laptop, cellphone and P5,000 cash were missing.
Probers have yet to determine if the victim was raped before she was killed.
Padre Garcia police chief Senior Inspector Joel Ilagan said at least 10 people were already interviewed and investigated to shed light on the slay case.
