The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to expect heavy traffic along EDSA northbound Wednesday evening as dry run is set for the "Salubungan."

The reenactment of the meeting of soldiers and ordinary citizens during the 1986 People Power Revolution is scheduled at 8 this evening at the People Power Monument.

On Thursday, the MMDA will close EDSA northbound from Ortigas to Santolan from 12 noon to 1 p.m. for the EDSA anniversary.

The westbound lane of White Plains Avenue will also be closed to vehicular traffic since a portion will be utilized as a staging area for the People Power Experiential Museum.

To ease traffic, a zipper lane will be opened along EDSA southbound to accommodate northbound vehicles from SM Megamall to Camp Aguinaldo Thursday.

The MMDA has also advised motorists to use alternate routes.
