MANILA, Philippines -- A man was injured after a fire broke out in a residential area in Tandang Sora, Quezon City on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire razed
at least 8 houses along Taurus Street in Carmel Subdivision at 12:10 p.m.
The fire reached the third alarm before it was declared out at around 1 p.m.
Initial investigation showed that the fire started from the second floor of the house of Nestor Perez.
The victim was identified as a certain Robert, driver of the Perez family.
The BFP estimated the cost of damage at P8 million.
Fire officials have yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
