Manila fire destroys P100,000 worth of property

MANILA, Philippines – A residential house in Sta. Ana, Paco, Manila was hit by fire a little past noon on Sunday.

According to Fire Senior Inspector Marvin Carbonel, the fire started inside the house of a certain Cecilia Mallari.

Carbonel said a firewall greatly helped in preventing the fire from spreading.

The Bureau of Fire Protection declared a fire out at 1:36 p.m.

Authorities are estimating the cost of damage at P100,000.
