MANILA, Philippines - One of 4 arrested suspects in the abduction and killing of model and ABS-CBN talent Julie Ann Rodelas has been charged with murder in an amended resolution by the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.
The Quezon City Police District earlier filed a case of llegal possession of firearms against Jaymar Waradje. He was charged with murder in the amended resolution.
Police Inspector Rodelio Marcelo said Waradje will remain in detention along with other suspects Althea Altamirano and Fernando Quiambao Jr. despite shedding light on the crime as a witness.
After Waradje gives his testimony during the preliminary investigation, it will be up to the court to recommend if he should be placed under the government's witness protection program.
