MANILA, Philippines – Two female American fugitives who were arrested in Cebu last month have been deported, authorities said.
The suspects, Lucretia Beth Brown, 49; and Andrea Jane London, 51, are wanted in the United States for committing fraud.
Authorities said they were arrested by a Bureau of Immigration (BI) fugitive search unit in a remote area in Cebu last October 9.
The suspects are facing charges of conspiring “to conceal records, make false statements and not report multiple sales of a company where they had previously worked.”
They will face trial at a US district court in eastern Texas, where warrants for their arrest have been issued.
Brown and London, who are both residents of Los Angeles, California, arrived in the Philippines last February 6, but are considered as undocumented aliens because their passports have been revoked. -- Report from Arnell Ozaeta, dzMM
