MANILA, Philippines – Two suspects in the killing of Julie Anne Rodelas, who worked as a part-time talent for ABS-CBN, have been arrested by authorities.
Police said the suspects, Altea Altamirano and Fernando Quiambao Jr., were arrested in Apalit, Pampanga at around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
They are now in the custody of the Quezon City Police District.
Altamirano was allegedly the one who reported to police that Rodelas was abducted by two men near the World Trade Center last Tuesday.
The body of the 20-year-old Rodelas was later found in Cubao. The victim had gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Police earlier said they believe Altamirano is key to shedding light on Rodelas’ death. -- Report from Robert Mano, dzMM
