MANILA, Philippines -- A male murder victim was found in Barangay Malamig, Mandaluyong City early morning on Saturday.

The body of the still unidentified victim was found by residents along Halcon St. at around 5 a.m.

The feet of the victim, who was wearing a green polo uniform, were tied.

A certain Renato Versoza, a taxi driver, later surfaced, saying the victim was a former co-worker.

He said, however, that he could not remember the victim's name anymore since the latter already transferred to another company.

PO3 Ambrosio Gam of Mandaluyong City Police said the victim bore a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities also said it was possible that the victim tried to fight against the suspects since bruises were seen on his body.

Police have yet to identify the identity of the victim and the motive for the killing. -- Report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
