MANILA, Philippines - Police on Tuesday arrested at the Quezon City Hall of Justice a jail guard allegedly involved in a P200-million estafa case.
Superintendent Constante Agpaoa, Quezon City Police District Station 10 chief, identified the suspect as Kaye del Rosario, an active member of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Agpaoa said Del Rosario was arrested while attending another estafa case at the Quezon City Hall of Justice.
He said Del Rosario is the owner of JRE Holdings, which allegedly collected P200 million from several victims.
The suspect has been brought to the Quezon City police's Kamuning station for further investigation. – Report from Dennis Datu, radio dzMM
