But where are those with High Moral Values? And with no Records of Corruption, just watch out when they get their hands on the till..corruption is temptation and even Saints could be tempted if they can get away from it. and that is the problem in the country, the impunity and the comparatively corrupt judicial system...

MANILA - Broadcast journalist Cheryl Cosim on Tuesday filed a case against a driver who allegedly threatened her and her family with a gun during a minor traffic altercation in Quezon City Monday.
According to Cosim, an ABS-CBN news anchor, she and her family were driving along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City when a Nissan Cefiro with plate number XPY 497 drove side by side with their vehicle.
Upon reaching the intersection of Congressional and Visayas Avenues, the Nissan Cefiro suddenly blocked their way and the driver went down the said vehicle.
Cosim who is also an anchor at dzMM radio then said the driver pointed a .45 caliber gun toward them.
She said they did not know who the man was, and why he suddenly pointed a gun towards them.
They were able to identify the plate number of the vehicle however, which turned out to be owned by a certain Richard Castro Ordoñez.
According to records provided by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to the Quezon City Police District, where the Cosims filed their complaint, the owner is a resident of Road 10, Project 6 Quezon City, but his sister Des Ordoñez said her brother does not go home there anymore.
She also said that they were surprised by the charges being filed against their brother, whom she said has a 'big' financial problem at the moment.
The Camp Crame Firearms and Explosives Division, meanwhile, revealed that none of the suspect's 7 firearms - 2 .45 caliber pistols, 2 .40 caliber pistols, 2 22 rifles and one 9-mm pistol - have expired licenses.
The QCPD's Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) homicide division in Camp Caringal, meanwhile, said that the suspect's vehicle is also sporting a congressional license plate, as per Cosim's statement.
Chief Inspector Benjamin Elenzano said that Ordoñez's vehicle is illegally bearing the plate, as he is not a member of the House of Representatives.
The QCPD-CIDU also said that they would like to know why the suspect has 7 firearms.
Ordoñez will be charged with grave threat and illegal possession of firearms. With reports from Alex Santos and Jam Alindogan, ABS-CBN News
re: re quick response.
100% agree with Octopus and "erap".
in addition:
please vote for people who are with very high moral values, no bad record of corruption, and not surrounded and have never aligned with corrupt people.
Perhaps in our lifetime the Philippines will be a peaceful place for Filipinos to live in and foreigners to visit.

unfortunately this is only true IF you are also powerful, rich or in the media (where your mother company like ABS-CBN, GMA..etc) will back you up and help you expose this people. Sad, but that is the truth in the Philippines... when will it change? Not in my son's generation nor in the next UNLESS we vote the right person to govern us....

Good job by the LTO and QCPD.
I feel for the Cosim family. I just hope the same quick response and resources are also available to ALL victims of this nature, who could provide a license plate no.
