Woman gives birth at Manila cemetery

MANILA, Philippines – A 24-year-old woman gave birth inside an ambulance at the Manila North Cemetery on All Saints’ Day.

The woman, Jennylyn Ventura, gave birth to a baby girl inside an ambulance of the Philippine Red Cross parked inside the cemetery.

Ventura and her newborn child have been brought to the Tondo General Hospital.

More than a million visitors trooped to the Manila cemetery, considered the largest cemetery in Metro Manila, on Thursday to visit their dead. -- Report from Henry Atuelan, dzMM
