MANILA, Philippines – Prices of flowers in Baguio City and Dangwa Flower Market in Manila are rising ahead of All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day.
From P80 per dozen, Malaysian mums now sell for P100-P120 per dozen in Baguio.
Chrysanthemums now sell for P200-P300 per bundle, compared to P150 last week. Roses are now priced at P300 per dozen, up from P120.
Flower sellers say prices may again rise by P5 on October 30.
In Dangwa, arranged flower prices have already increased by P10-P20 compared to last week.
Arranged flowers can now be bought from P200 to P800. Roses sell at P200 per dozen, chrysanthemums at P180 per bundle, stargazers at P120 per bundle, and Malaysian mums range from P120 to P150 per dozen.
Orchids sell for P350 to P380 per bundle, while cailalilies go for P30 per dozen, and asters for P150 per kilo.
