MANILA, Philippines – A suspect considered to be Manila’s most wanted criminal is now under police custody.
Ronald Roque was arrested after policemen located his hideout Thursday afternoon.
Roque is wanted for killing Gerald Entena in October last year. He is also involved in other crimes.
Roque and his group allegedly planned Entena’s killing because of gang rivalry.
He, however, denied the allegations against him.
“Itinuro lang nila ako para gumaan ang kaso nila e...sinaksak nila ng ice pick, buhay pa tapos hinabol nila,” Roque said.
An ice pick was used to stab Entena several times to the neck and body that resulted in his death.
Police also arrested Roque’s cousin who is a minor. The minor is said to be among Roque’s group at the time of the murder.
Meanwhile, a manhunt operation is still ongoing to arrest three other suspects identified as Nicorenzo Barruelo, Christopher Bolitic, and Jessie Boy Angeles who are still at large. Jerome Lantin, ABS-CBN News
