MANILA, Philippines - Different units of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) have apprehended 19 colorum vehicles on Thursday.
The Southern Police District intercepted four colorum vehicles in Las Piñas, and one in Pasay and Makati while the Manila Police District caught five colorum vehicles along Roxas Boulevard.
Meanwhile, five colorum vehicles plying along JP Rizal and Marikina were apprehended by the Eastern Police District.
The Northern Police District caught one along Rizal Avenue corner 9th Avenue, Caloocan while two colorum vehicles were caught by the Quezon City Police District.
In its joint anti-colorum operations with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the NCRPO has already apprehended a total of 95 colorum vehicles.
This, in addition to over 100 colorum vehicles they have already apprehended with other deputized agencies prior to the joint operations.
The vehicles are presently held at the LTFRB Impounding Area in Taytay, Rizal.
