Thai woman caught with shabu at NAIA

MANILA, Philippines – A Thai woman was arrested on Saturday after she was allegedly caught with approximately 6.7 kilograms of shabu at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, authorities said.

According to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) spokesperson Derrick Carreon, the suspect, 40-year-old Khamsa Napaporn, arrived at Terminal 1 onboard Emirates Air flight EK332 at around 5:30 p.m.

Initial investigations showed that the drugs were allegedly concealed inside a compartment in her luggage.

Investigations are still ongoing.
