MANILA, Philippines – The status of La Mesa Dam has been downgraded from red to yellow alert, an official said on Thursday.
La Mesa Dam Headworks Manager Engr. Teddy Angeles said the dam’s water level is now only at 79.55 meters, or 60 centimeters below its spilling level.
Angeles said he expects the water level to go down because of the improved weather.
Water level in Magat Dam in Ramon, Isabela, meanwhile, has also decreased to 192.95 meters, or 5 centimeters below its spilling level. – Report from Johnson Manabat, dzMM
