MANILA, Philippines – An Indonesian woman was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 Sunday after being caught with eight kilograms of crack cocaine.

The Indonesian, identified as Dwi Wulandari, is suspected of being a drug mule. She previously went to China, Brazil, Peru and Dubai before landing at the Philippines aboard Emirates flight EK-332.

Wulandari was confronted by the Airport Customs Police due to her heavy baggage. She was discovered to be hiding cocaine inside a fiber glass plastic wrapped in carbon.

The suspect denied smuggling the illegal drugs, but the numbers on her luggage and on her claim tag matched.

Wulandari will be brought to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. -- Report from DZMM
