MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has announced that the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto online lottery draw is expected to reach P250 million in Friday's draw after nobody won the prize last Wednesday.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the winning number combination was 16-20-28-08-27-51 with a jackpot of P220,713,217.20.

“At least 73 players won the second prize worth P150,000 each after they picked five digits of the six-digit winning combination,” he said.

Rojas also said that the sales of lotto tickets soared to P124 million last Wednesday compared to the average sales of P25 million per draw.

He said the jackpot for the draw tomorrow is expected to hit P250 million or more depending on ticket sales.

This is the second biggest jackpot since January when a retired worker from Southern Leyte and another laborer from Taytay, Rizal shared the P300-million jackpot in the lotto draw last Feb. 23.

The biggest jackpot prize in the history of the PCSO online lotto draw was more than P741 million that a balikbayan from New York won after he bought the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Olongapo City in November 2010.
