MANILA, Philippines – Two suspected robbers onboard a motorcycle were arrested in Quezon City on Wednesday, police said.
The suspects, identified as Melchor Farinas and Wilfredo Delfin, are accused of robbing two businessmen in Barangay Sangandaan.
Police said the victims had just withdrawn P700,000 from a BPI branch in Holy Cross branch when they were allegedly robbed at gunpoint by the riding-in-tandem suspects.
The suspects, onboard a black Kawasaki motorcycle, were flagged down by officers of the Quezon City Police District for not wearing helmets. -- Report from Doland Castro, ABS-CBN News
