MANILA – A car went ablaze along Espana Boulevard in Manila on Wednesday evening.
Photos captured by passers-by show the entire car on fire at the corner of Espana Boulevard and Don Quijote Street.
The car, owned by a certain Redentor Manchos, went ablaze at around 6:30 p.m.
Manchos said he pulled over after noticing that smoke was already coming out of the car's hood. However, the car caught fire right after Manchos pulled over.
Manchos also failed to put out the fire after the extinguisher he got from a nearby establishment failed to work.
The Bureau of Fire Protection eventually extinguished the fire. It was too late, however, as the fire already engulfed almost the entire car. – report from Francis Faulve, ABS-CBN News
