MANILA – A male Australian national fell to his death from a building in Pasay City before dawn on Wednesday.

Pasay Police said the Australian, aged 65, fell from an undetermined floor of AGI Building, located at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue and Juan Luna Street.

Residents said they saw the man on Tuesday evening listlessly walking outside the building, without slippers on. Police said the Australian checked in at the Atrium Hotel, which occupies the AGI Building.

Witnesses said the Australian hit the main power line of Meralco before landing on the ground. The incident caused brownout in the area.

Investigators have yet to determine whether the Australian's death is a case of a suicide. – report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
