MANILA – Work was temporarily disrupted at the Manila City Hall Wednesday afternoon due to a bomb threat that turned out to be a hoax.
Police said a former staff received an anonymous text message saying that a bomb was planted at the 3rd floor of the city prosecutor’s office.
Employees were told to vacate the building at around 4 p.m. while personnel of the Manila Police District’s Ordnance and Explosive Division investigated.
No bombs were found inside the building.
Police, meanwhile, will investigate a former staff, who is allegedly an ex-employee of former Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim. -- Report from Zyann Ambrosio, ABS-CBN News
