MANILA, Philippines – A fire hit a residential area at the boundary of Makati and Pasay cities on Wednesday morning.
Fire struck the houses at the boundary of Tramo in Pasay and Barangay San Isidro in Makati at around 10 a.m.
The fire reached the 3rd alarm and explosions from several liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks were heard.
The fire was already under control as of 12:50 p.m., according to the Makati Traffic's Twitter account.
Fire officials have yet to determine the cause of the blaze, which affected houses made mostly of light materials. – with a report from Henry Atuelan, dzMM
