MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday announced the lifting of the Number Coding in Metro Manila on Monday and Tuesday.
"Number Coding is lifted in WHOLE Metro Manila this Aug 20 and 21 (Mon and Tuesday) due to said dates being holidays. #MMDA," the MMDA said in its official Twitter account.
August 20 is declared as a non working holiday in observance of the Eid-ul Fitr, the culmination of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
August 21 is also non working holiday in commemoration of the death of Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.
