MANILA - An unidentified woman was injured after she fell off a footbridge along EDSA-Taft Avenue in Pasay City on Saturday morning.
Pasay City police said the woman fell off the footbridge past 11 a.m. and then landed on the northbound lane of EDSA-Taft, in front of a hotel.
Fortunately, no car was passing by the area at the time of the incident.
The woman, who sustained head injury, was rushed to the San Juan District Hospital. Police said she will be later transferred to the Philippine General Hospital.
Authorities said the woman had no identification card with her. She only said she came from Blumentritt, Manila.
Police are still investigating if the woman jumped off the footbridge or she accidentally fell off. -- Report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
