MANILA - A 24-year-old construction worker was stabbed to death by his co-worker along Lualhati Street in Tondo, Manila on Saturday morning.

The victim, identified as Oliver Miradores, was stabbed in the chest by 18-year-old Rogito Legato.

Initial investigation showed that Miradores and Legato first had a heated argument on Friday, but their other co-workers were able to pacify them.

However, the two again faced off on Saturday morning. This time, Legato was carrying a kitchen knife which he used to stab Miradores.

The suspect immediately fled the scene after the incident. -- Report from Zandro Ochona, dzMM
