MANILA, Philippines – Four suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation by the Philippine National Police-Anti-Illegal Drugs Speciation Operations Task Force (PNP-AIDSOTF) in Sampaloc, Manila on Tuesday.
Police said shabu worth an estimated P2.5 million were recovered from the suspects.
They were identified as Nelson Salumides, Mervin Oblepias, Christian Tan and Novelo Anastacio. All of the suspects are residents of Lucena, Quezon.
AIDSOFT team leader Insp. Roque Merdegia Jr. said the suspects were arrested after allegedly selling shabu to an undercover buyer of the PNP.
Merdegia said they had been monitoring the 4 suspects for two weeks prior to the arrest. -- Report from Arnell Ozaeta, dzMM
