4 flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA – Four domestic flights have been cancelled Sunday due to bad weather conditions.

The Department of Transportation and Communications said the following flights were cancelled:

  • 5J 521 Manila - Naga
  • 5J 522 Naga - Manila
  • 2P 263 Manila - Naga
  • 2P 264 Naga - Manila

As of 2 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said typhoon Labuyo was spotted at 110 kilometers north northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.

It is packing maximum winds of 150 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of 185 kilometers per hour.

It is moving slow in a west northwest direction at 19 kilometers per hour.

Several areas are now under signal number 3: Catanduanes, Camarines Provinces, Northern Quezon Province including Polilio Island, Aurora and Isabela.

Signal number 2, on the other hand, is hoisted over: Sorsogon, Albay, Rizal, the rest of Quezon, Laguna, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Quirino, Nueva Viscaya, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Kalinga and Cagayan.

Metro Manila, meanwhile, remains under signal number one.

Other areas under signal number one are: Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao, Abra , La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Marinduque, Burias and Ticao.
