Body found floating on Pasig River

MANILA -- Residents of 22nd Street in Barangay West Rembo, Makati City found the dead body of a man floating on the Pasig River Sunday morning.

The man, who has yet to be identified, was wearing a pair of blue shorts, with a height between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6.

It has yet to be determined also if the victim is in fact a resident of West Rembo.

According to Romeo Vasquez of the Pasig City Rescue Team, they were looking for a man who drowned in the river Friday after swimming after a ball.

However, they have yet to confirm whether the body belongs to the man from Pasig. -- report from Edwin Sevidal, DZMM
