Sagip Kapamilya gives aid to 7,900 families

MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya has now served a total of 7,909 families or 31,636 individuals who were affected by severe flooding from monsoon rains.

The families were given relief packs consisting of water, canned goods, noodles, rice, clothes and ready-to-eat items.

A number of volunteers, including “Pinoy Big Brother” winner Myrtle Sarrosa, helped in re-packing the relief packs.

The relief goods are distributed to flood-ravaged areas, including Pampanga, Manila and Bulacan.

More than 5,000 worth of goods are distributed daily.

Donations are accepted at the headquarters of Sagip Kapamilya, ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc., located along Mother Ignacia Ave. cor. Eugenio Lopez St. in Diliman, Quezon City.
